$400 school saving bonus

The Allan Labor Government is helping families with the cost of living by delivering the $400 School Saving Bonus.

It will help cover the cost of kids’ uniforms, books, excursions and school activities.

Every family with a child enrolled at a government school, plus eligible families at non-government schools, can choose how they use their bonus via the School Saving Bonus website - https://www.vic.gov.au/school-saving-bonus

Parents should have received an email in late November or early December 20204 providing all the information you need on how to access and use the Bonus.

We know that many families are doing it tough with the cost of living, and that's why we've brought this important measure in. That’s why the Allan Labor Government is delivering support for 700,000 students with the School Saving Bonus.

It’ll give kids a great start to the 2025 school year – and give their parents one less thing to worry about.
