New buildings for Hampton East School

The future is bright at the Hampton East School!

It was a pleasure to formally declare open the new school and tour its two brand new buildings, alongside my colleague Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos MP, Principal Juliet Cooper and plenty of happy students!

The Victorian State Government invested more than $12 million in this project. The Hampton East School is for Prep to Year 12 students with a mild to moderate Intellectual Disability, and was recently renamed following the merger of the former Katandra and Berendale Schools.

The new buildings mark an important new chapter for this wonderful school.
